Shadchans.org is provided entirely free of charge as a community mitzvah. There are no fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges — now or in the future.

2. Who May Use This Service

This service is for Jewish adults who are sincerely seeking marriage (shidduchim). By registering, you affirm that you are Jewish, that you are of legal age in your country, and that you are genuinely seeking a spouse.

3. Truthful Answers

You must answer all questionnaire questions honestly and accurately. Providing false or misleading information — about your Jewish status, personal background, health, or character — is a violation of these terms and undermines the purpose of the system. Deliberate deception may result in account suspension.

4. Halachic Compliance

This service operates in accordance with Jewish law (halacha). We reserve the right to block or suspend accounts where halachic concerns arise, such as unverified Jewish status, divorce without a proper get, or a Cohen attempting to match with a woman he cannot halachically marry. These restrictions exist for your protection and the integrity of the matches.

5. No Guarantee of Results

We do our best to find compatible matches based on your answers. However, we cannot guarantee that a match will lead to a marriage, or that any particular match will be right for you. The ultimate decision rests with you and the other person.

6. Respectful Conduct

All members are expected to treat each other with dignity and respect. Any form of harassment, misuse of contact information, or disrespectful conduct will result in immediate account termination.

7. Privacy

Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
